.DISCUSSION...
There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms for this
afternoon for the San Bernardino Mountains and High Desert with
the chance of wetting rain 5 to 10 percent. Dry conditions will
prevail for much of the rest of the forecast period. There will be
a gradual warming trend through the weekend, continuing into
early next week for the mountains and deserts. A marine layer
around 3000 feet deep into Friday morning may decrease to around
1500 to 2000 feet during the weekend and fluctuate around that
range or deepen slightly into next week.
