.DISCUSSION...
Cooler conditions expected for the weekend with periods of stronger
and gusty west winds for the mountains and deserts through this
evening, with the stronger gusts of 50 to 60 mph and isolated
gusts to 70 mph. There is also a chance for light showers or
drizzle from this morning into early Sunday, with the greatest
chances for Saturday evening. Chances for wetting precipitation
are less than 10 percent for this morning, with slightly higher
chances for the San Diego coasts and valleys and coastal slopes of
the mountains tonight into Sunday morning. Then dry and warmer
for Monday. A brief period of offshore northerly winds are
expected for Monday, with daytime relative humidity in the Inland
Empire falling to 15 to 20 percent. A warming trend will continue
through Thursday, with high temperatures around 10 degrees above
average for Wednesday and Thursday.
