.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather will continue through Thursday with cooling and higher
coastal humidity spreading inland. An incoming storm system will bring
a greater chance of rainfall by Friday into Saturday. Timing and rainfall
amounts continue to be uncertain, but Saturday favors the most widespread
moderate to heavy rainfall with moderate to high chances of wetting rains.
This system will not bring too much wind with it. Thursday will be the
windiest day overall with gusts 20-35 MPH across the mountains/deserts,
locally over 40 MPH along the desert slopes. Coastal areas may see an
increase in winds over 20 MPH by Saturday as well.
The chance for rainfall will be less on Sunday, though the chance of
wetting rain will continue into early next week as another storm
system may move closer to the region.
