.DISCUSSION...
Warm and dry conditions on tap for inland areas for today across
southern California with a shallow marine layer intrusion limited
to the coasts and up to 15-20 miles inland this morning. Highs for
the deserts will still be hot on Monday, but begin to cool
slightly elsewhere, then continue a subtle cooling trend for all
locations from a few to around 5 degrees from Tuesday through the
end of next week with high temperatures on Thursday around average
to around 5 degrees below average for the valleys. These
temperatures are looking to hold steady going into next weekend.
