.DISCUSSION...
Slightly below normal temperatures and typical afternoon sea
breeze winds for Tuesday. The marine layer is expected to be
1000-1500 ft deep for the remainder of the week. Hot weather
returns beginning on Wednesday, peaking Thursday and Friday before
minor cooling next weekend. Monsoon moisture will return by
midweek with a 15-25% chance of showers and thunderstorms over the
mountains and High Desert Thursday afternoon. Chances increase to
around 20-50% for Friday through Monday afternoon and evening for
all mountains and deserts. Hot and unstable weather will result
in mixing heights of 15-17 kft or more over the mountains and High
Desert Thursday and Friday.
