774 FNUS56 KSGX 121027 FWFSGX Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southwestern California National Weather Service San Diego CA 227 AM PST Wed Feb 12 2025 .DISCUSSION... One round of precipitation will spread southeastward across the area for today and tonight with snow above 6000 to 6500 feet with the chance for wetting rainfall of 85 to 95 percent from the coast to the mountains. Another round of heavier precipitation with snow above 7500 to 8000 feet is expected for Thursday and Thursday night with a near 100 percent chance for wetting rainfall from the coast to the mountains. Showers will continue on Friday and end from the northwest Friday night. There will also be periods of stronger and gusty southwest to west winds at times into Friday. Drier with warming for the weekend, then slightly cooler early next week.
