.DISCUSSION...
Widespread moderate to heavy rain today with a 15-30% chance of
thunderstorms. Snow levels will be above 7500 ft today, falling to
6500-7000 ft tonight. Showers will become more scattered and
light to moderate late this afternoon, then light and isolated
Sunday morning. A second storm will arrive sometime Monday
afternoon bringing another round of widespread moderate
precipitation with snow levels as low as 5500-6000 ft Monday night
into Tuesday morning. There is the potential for a third storm
sometime Thursday through Saturday, but confidence in timing and
rainfall amounts is low, and there is an outside chance (less than
20%) that this storm misses the area. Otherwise below normal
temperatures with periods of moderate onshore flow through the
week.
