There are chances of widespread showers through this evening.
Greatest chances of wetting rain will be over Orange County and
the San Gabriel Mountains, or where any thunderstorms develop
in the afternoon. Otherwise cool with gusty west winds in the
mountains and deserts through the weekend, strongest during the
afternoons and evenings. Peak gusts of 45 to 55 mph can be
expected with local gusts to 60 mph through the San Gorgonio Pass
through this evening. Dry with minor warming next week, with high
temperatures near to slightly above normal and typical diurnal
winds.
