.DISCUSSION...
Hot weather will continue through the weekend as high pressure
moves over the area. Friday will be the first day of modest
chances for thunderstorm activity over the mountains and deserts.
Elevated convection with associated lightning could occur by
Friday night into Saturday morning. Chances for thunderstorms
will continue over this region this weekend with higher chances
for wetting rain. Cooling will occur by early next week with
gradual drying of the monsoonal moisture for the middle and
latter part of next week with decreasing chances for showers
and thunderstorms.
