.DISCUSSION...
Hot conditions will continue for inland areas into early next
week. The marine layer will become deeper over the weekend,
spreading higher coastal humidity into Orange County and the San
Diego valleys. Elsewhere, minimum daytime relative humidities will
be 10 to 20 percent, with poor overnight recovery. Low relative
humidity values combined with the usual afternoon sea breeze winds
will result in elevated fire weather conditions on the desert
mountain slopes. By Thursday of next week, high temperatures will
be a few to around 5 degrees below average for the coast, valleys,
and mountains and a few degrees above average for the deserts.
