.DISCUSSION...
Cooler than average weather will continue through the weekend with
highs temperatures up to 15 degrees below average. High pressure
will expand from the east, leading to warmer warmer weather into
the middle of the week. The marine layer will continue night and
morning low clouds for much of the coastal basin this weekend,
hugging only coastal areas by next week as the layer thins. West
winds will continue each afternoon and evening across the mountains
and deserts with moderate to high confidence in wind gusts over 40
mph for desert slopes and the San Gorgonio Pass today. Dry weather
will continue for at least the next week.
