.DISCUSSION...
Near average temperatures and drier weather is expected through
Monday. Relative humidities will lower through this period with single
digit readings possible across the mountains and 15 to 20 percent
readings across inland valleys west of the mountains. High pressure
will strengthen over the area by Tuesday into the end of the week,
leading to hotter conditions with a slight increase in humidity.
Poor overnight recoveries across the mountains and desert slopes
will be common over the next week. The marine layer will become
shallower into next week, with patchier low clouds each night near
the coast. Afternoon and evening west/south winds will be strongest
today, with gusts 25-45 MPH across the high desert and the San Gorgonio
Pass. West/south winds weaken into the weekend and next week.
