The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The Bridge Fire burn scar in...
  San Bernardino County in southern California...

* Until 115 PM PST.

* At 1009 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain falling over the Bridge Fire burn scar. Between 0.5 and
  1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to
  0.75 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flows
through canyons surrounding Mount Baldy. The debris flow can consist
of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding in and around the Bridge Fire burn
           scar.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around
           the Bridge Fire burn scar.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Fontana, Wrightwood, Hwy 2 Between Phelan And Wrightwood, I-15
  Through The Cajon Pass, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Hwy 138 Between
  I-15 And Hwy 2, Pinon Hills, Phelan and San Antonio Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in the Bridge Fire burn scar. Severe debris flows can also
be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away
in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
