.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 2 AM, a 1011 mb low over the coastal waters brought weak
neutral flow. A 1001 mb low 500 NM west of Point Reyes was at the
core of a storm and its cold front. Strong south winds will
develop late tonight, then turn west to northwest Thursday
morning with winds approaching gale force. These winds will
produce hazardous boating conditions late tonight through
Thursday night. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms
Thursday. Hazardous conditions will diminish Friday, but brisk
northwest winds return Friday night. Conditions will rapidly
improve Saturday and continue Sunday.
