.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 1 PM, a 1033 mb high was 1300 nautical miles west of Seattle,
WA, and a 1006 mb low was over western Nevada. Moderate onshore
flow today will increase for Friday through Saturday night, with
northwest winds occasionally exceeding 20 knots around San
Clemente Island during the afternoons and evenings. There is a
slight chance of thunderstorms through Friday, mainly during the
afternoons. Lightning, erratic winds, choppy seas, and/or reduced
visibility in heavy rain possible in the vicinity of any
thunderstorm that develops.
