...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST
TODAY...

* WHAT...Surf of 4 to 6 feet with local sets to 7 feet for
  Orange County beaches and sets to 8 feet for San Diego County
  beaches. A high risk of rip currents for all beaches. High
  astronomical tides of about 7 feet.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
  Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Until noon PST today.

* IMPACTS...Increased risk of drowning due to elevated surf and
  strong rip currents. Minor flooding of low-lying beach areas
  and parking lots possible due to tidal overflow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of high astronomical
  tides and elevated surf will lead to a threat of minor coastal
  flooding this morning. Strong rip currents and high surf will
  lead to hazardous swimming conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
