...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PHELPS COUNTY
THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 602 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles south of Newburg, or 13 miles east of Fort Leonard Wood. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Edgar Springs.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 168 and 169, and
between mile markers 180 and 183.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
