...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN STONE AND SOUTHEASTERN
BARRY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 557 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Beaver, or 9 miles north of Eureka Springs, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Table Rock Lake, Roaring River State Park, Shell Knob, Seligman,
Golden, Emerald Beach, Eagle Rock, Blue Eye, Chain-O-Lakes, Arrow
Point, and Lampe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Table Rock Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
