This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk
  Significant Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

Additional showers and thunderstorms will move through the region
into tonight. Some embedded thunderstorms could bring intense
rainfall rates. There may be localized rate-driven flash flood
concerns in areas that see prolonged periods of heavy rainfall.

A very moist environment will be favorable for fog formation in
places that are not actively receiving precipitation. Fog could
be locally dense, dropping visibility below a half mile.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and isolated storms will continue into Friday. Storms are
not expected to be severe.

Additional fog development may occur Friday and Saturday mornings.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
