This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Low chances (10-20%) for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms
north of Interstate 44 after midnight. Lightning, heavy
downpours, and isolated wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph could occur if
a thunderstorm does develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

The excessive heat will continue through the end of this week
with highs generally in the mid 90s and heat index values from
100 to 105 each day.

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect through 7 PM Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
