This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Marginal tornado risk.
  Marginal hail risk.
  Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and
evening into tonight, mainly over far south- central Missouri
(southeast of a line from Branson to Salem). Chances are low that
thunderstorms will form across the area, but if they do they could
produce large hail to the size of tennis balls, damaging winds,
and perhaps an isolated tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Severe thunderstorms are possible Friday, especially along and
east of Highway 65. There will be the potential for very large
hail to the size of baseballs, damaging winds, and isolated
tornadoes.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are possible Saturday night
through Tuesday. Some of these storms may be strong to severe.
Additionally, there is the potential for localized heavy rainfall
and flooding with this activity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
