Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Marginal hail risk.
  Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible late this evening into
the early overnight hours mainly along and south of I-44. Lightning
and brief heavy rainfall will be the main risk with the storms
but a few storms may be capable of hail up to the size of
quarters.

A complex of showers and thunderstorms will then move into far
southeastern Kansas and southwestern Missouri after 3am Friday
morning. Damaging wind gusts up to 60mph, lightning and localized
flooding will be the primary concerns across extreme southeastern
Kansas and far southwestern Missouri tonight. A Flood Watch is
in effect for portions of extreme southeastern Kansas and southern
Missouri from 3am to 1pm Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The ongoing round of showers and thunderstorms Friday morning
will likely end by afternoon. Another round of thunderstorms is
possible late Friday night into Saturday, especially south of
Interstate 44. Damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding
are the primary hazards however confidence is low with the track
of this complex.
