Weather hazards expected... Marginal hail risk. Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk. Elevated lightning risk. Elevated excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Scattered thunderstorms will be possible late this evening into the early overnight hours mainly along and south of I-44. Lightning and brief heavy rainfall will be the main risk with the storms but a few storms may be capable of hail up to the size of quarters. A complex of showers and thunderstorms will then move into far southeastern Kansas and southwestern Missouri after 3am Friday morning. Damaging wind gusts up to 60mph, lightning and localized flooding will be the primary concerns across extreme southeastern Kansas and far southwestern Missouri tonight. A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of extreme southeastern Kansas and southern Missouri from 3am to 1pm Friday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. The ongoing round of showers and thunderstorms Friday morning will likely end by afternoon. Another round of thunderstorms is possible late Friday night into Saturday, especially south of Interstate 44. Damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding are the primary hazards however confidence is low with the track of this complex. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
