.DISCUSSION...

The hot conditions will remain over the area the rest of the week
into this weekend with highs in the 90s to near 100 degrees each
afternoon. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 pm Saturday.

Scattered showers and storms will continue to develop and slowly
move east across portions of the area east of Highway 65 this
afternoon dissipating early this evening. A few isolated storms
will be possible across portions of the eastern Ozarks again on
Thursday afternoon, but most locations should remain dry on Thursday.
