.DISCUSSION...

Winds start out light today out of the south-southwest before
shifting to the north this afternoon behind a cold front and
increase slightly. Mixing will also increase behind the front.

Isolated showers and storms (15-25% chance) across south-central
Missouri and the eastern Ozarks this afternoon.

Hot and humid conditions persist today. A Heat Advisory is in
effect areawide until 7 PM for afternoon heat indices between 100
to 110 degrees.
