.DISCUSSION...
An abnormally moist air mass continues to be in place for the
foreseeable future, keeping minimum RHs above 60% through at least
Tuesday. Our last hoorah for widespread shower and thunderstorm
chances occur tonight into Monday morning. Any shower or storm
will be capable of producing heavy downpours, creating a threat
for flash flooding in locations that see multiple storms through
Monday. Additionally, some storms may be capable of producing wind
gusts up to 60 mph and brief/weak tornadoes. Some isolated showers
and thunderstorms are then possible this afternoon (15-30%
chance). Lastly, a decaying thunderstorm complex is then possible
west of Highway 65 late tonight (15-40% chance) before drier (but
moist) weather moves in for Tuesday.
Winds will consistently stay south-southwesterly (with deviations
to southeasterly during the nighttime hours) at 8-15 mph,
sometimes gusting up to 20-25 mph during the afternoon hours.
