Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Big Piney below Fort Leonard Wood  -East Gate affecting Pulaski
  County.

For the Big Piney River...including Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Piney  below Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate.

* WHEN...From this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, the Happy Hollow Picnic Area floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this morning
    to 9.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage to 7.4 feet this afternoon. It will rise to 7.9 feet
    this evening. It will then fall to 3.9 feet Tuesday morning.
    It will rise to 4.0 feet early Wednesday morning. It will
    then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    9.0 feet on 02/29/1944.
