The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Howell County in south central Missouri...
  Southeastern Douglas County in southwestern Missouri...
  Ozark County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 346 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  West Plains, Mountain View, Willow Springs, Gainesville,
  Bakersfield, Pomona, South Fork, Pontiac, Sundown, Pottersville,
  Siloam Springs, Caulfield, Dora, Moody, Sycamore, Tecumseh, Udall,
  Zanoni, White Church, Lanton, Hardenville, Peace Valley, Isabella,
  Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake and Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Lick Creek at County Road 528, Bennetts River at Highway 142,
  Bennetts Bayou at Highway 142, Eleven Point River at County Road
  1550, Spring Creek at County Road 349, Possum Walk Creek at
  Highway T and Gill Branch at Highway Y.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
