273 SXUS46 KSEW 222325 RECSEW Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast National Weather Service Seattle WA 325 PM PST Sat Feb 22 2025 .SYNOPSIS...An atmospheric river will set up over Western Washington, maintaining a wet weekend with heavy rain, high snow levels, and strong winds near Camp Muir and the summit. After a brief break early Monday, a front will bring more rain and gusty winds through Tuesday. High pressure rebuilds over the region around the middle of the week with mild and mostly dry conditions, though some shower chances linger. && .IMPACTS...Strong winds at and above 10,000 feet will make it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these conditions. && .SATURDAY NIGHT...Rain and snow.
