Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...The next weather system arrives late Thursday across
Mount Rainier National Park, bringing rain and snow and increasing
clouds. The snow level will fall to near or below Paradise, but
little to no accumulation is expected at this elevation.
Thunderstormchances increase to around 15 percent Saturday
afternoon and evening across the park. An unsettled weather
pattern will remain in place across the Pacific Northwest late in
the week through early next week.

afternoon. Snow level near 5000 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Cloudy with a chance of rain and snow. Little
or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 5000 feet.
.FRIDAY...Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in the
morning, then mostly cloudy with rain and snow likely in the
afternoon. Snow level near 6000 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Rain and snow in the evening, then rain and snow
likely after midnight. Snow level near 6500 feet.
.SATURDAY...Rain and snow in the morning, then showers, snow
showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
