.SYNOPSIS...
A warm front moving into the area will produce snow and a localized
wintry mix in the National Park Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
A second system will bring another round of precipitation Wednesday
afternoon into Thursday. A trend toward drier conditions and
colder temperatures is expected for holiday weekend into early
next week.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry
skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine
terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard-
like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are
likely. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain,
including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in
these conditions.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST WEDNESDAY...
.TUESDAY NIGHT...A slight chance of freezing rain in the evening.
Rain and snow. Freezing rain after midnight. Precipitation may be
heavy at times until early morning. Snow accumulation near
Paradise of 3 to 8 inches. Snow level near 5500 feet increasing
to 6500 feet after midnight. Ice accumulation of less than one
quarter of an inch.
.WEDNESDAY...Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain, snow and light
freezing rain in the morning, then a chance of rain and snow in
the afternoon. Patchy dense fog in the afternoon. Snow level near
5500 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Patchy dense fog in the evening. Rain and snow
in the evening, then rain, snow and light freezing rain after
midnight. Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow
level near 6500 feet.
.THANKSGIVING DAY...Rain and snow. Light snow accumulations. Snow
level near 6000 feet.
