.SYNOPSIS...
Weak system over the park early Tuesday morning moving off to the
east. Warm front moving up from the south will spread rain and
snow over the park Tuesday night. Trailing cold front will stall
over the park Wednesday before dissipating Wednesday night. A
fast moving system will arrive Thursday for another round of rain
and snow and windy conditions into Friday. Possible break
Saturday before a splitting system for Sunday night and Monday.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry
skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine
terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield Tuesday night
through Thursday. Blizzard-like conditions with strong winds and
near zero visibility are likely. A high level of skill and
experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended
for navigation and camping in these conditions.

.TUESDAY...Mostly cloudy. Rain and snow likely early in the
morning, A slight chance of rain and snow late in the afternoon.
Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 5500
feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Rain and snow. Little or no snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 7500 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Rain and snow. No snow accumulation near Paradise.
Snow level near 7000 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Rain and snow in the evening, then showers,
snow showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.
Light snow accumulations. Snow level near 5500 feet.
.THURSDAY...Rain and snow. Light snow accumulations. Snow level
near 5500 feet.
