465 SXUS46 KSEW 081049 RECSEW Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast National Weather Service Seattle WA 249 AM PST Fri Nov 8 2024 .SYNOPSIS...A series of systems will bring unsettled weather starting tonight and throughout early next week, consisting of lowland rain, high elevation mountain snow, and breezy conditions at Mount Rainier National Park. && .IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit on Friday will make it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these conditions. && .FRIDAY...Partly sunny.
