Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast
National Weather Service Seattle WA
318 AM PDT Thu Oct 9 2025

.SYNOPSIS...An upper low remains in place off the Pacific coast
for the next few days, allowing for periodic rounds of

Park. As a disturbance crosses the region into the weekend,
expect steadier precipitation chances and even cooler
temperatures, with snow levels lowering below Paradise late in the
weekend through early next week.

&&

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit through Thursday night
will make it difficult to move safely and could produce local
whiteout conditions. A high level of skill and experience in
alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for
navigation and camping in these conditions.

then a slight chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. No snow
