Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...Cooler and cloudier conditions will continue at Mount
Rainier National Park Tuesday night into Wednesday. Clouds on
Wednesday morning will clear for some afternoon sun. High pressure
will build over the Pacific Northwest late this week and remain
situated across the region through the weekend for warmer and
drier conditions at the park.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit Tuesday night will make
it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.
