.SYNOPSIS...A trough will bring widespread rain and snow to
Mount Rainer today, with strong winds near the summit tonight.
Conditions will begin to dry out on Monday. High pressure will
bring dry and warmer conditions through midweek. Precipitation
chances return late in the week.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit will make it difficult to
move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high
level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of
GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these
conditions.

.SUNDAY...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain and snow in the
morning, then a chance of rain and snow in the late morning and
early afternoon. Rain and snow likely late in the afternoon. Snow
accumulation near Paradise up to 1 inch. Snow level near
4000 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with rain and snow likely in the
evening, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and snow
after midnight. Snow accumulation near Paradise of 1 to 2 inches.
Total snow accumulation near Paradise 1 to 3 inches. Snow level
near 4000 feet decreasing to 3000 feet after midnight.
.MONDAY...Partly sunny. A slight chance of rain and snow in the
morning. Snow level near 2500 feet. Freezing level near 4500 feet
in the afternoon.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly
cloudy. Freezing level near 4000 feet.
.TUESDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 4000 feet increasing to
6000 feet in the afternoon.
