...NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Outages...

The NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) transmitters WXM-62 near Olympia, WA
and WZ-2502 near Randle, WA remain offline due to a line cut at the
NOAA Western Regional Center in Seattle. The NWS office in Seattle
is working with the parties involved to restore the broadcasts as
soon as possible.

NOAA Weather Radio is one of many ways to stay informed about
hazardous weather near you. Additional ways to receive this critical
information include:

     Alternate NOAA Weather Radio Broadcasts from area transmitters
      including:
         KHB-60 Seattle, operating on 162.550 MHz
         WWG-24 Puget Sound Marine operating on 162.425 MHz
         KXI-27 Forks operating on 162.425 MHz
         KEC-91 Astoria operating on 162.400 MHz
         More information on transmitters serving Washington are
          available at https://www.weather.gov/nwr/states_dyn?state=WA
     NWS warnings may also be available via Wireless Emergency Alerts
      sent to cell phones
     Most local broadcast meteorologists disseminate NWS warnings and
      they are widely available on the Internet, including at
      www.weather.gov.
     Many private sector weather apps relay our warnings as well as
      the FEMA app
