...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 8 PM PDT SATURDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

.SATURDAY...An upper-low offshore is on track to to enter the
region early Saturday morning. As a result, scattered showers and
a 30-40% chance of thunderstorms will return to the incident area
sparking the issuance of a Red Flag Warning for the North Cascades
including the Luna Fire. The thunderstorm threat should wane
overnight Saturday into Sunday but precipitation is favorable to
remain. The best chance (20-25%) of wetting rain (>0.25") is in
the window between Saturday night Sunday morning.




Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (65-75 percent). Chance of showers
                    and slight chance of thunderstorms in the
                    morning, then showers and chance of
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Chance of lightning.35 to 40 percent.

Wind (20 ft)........Light winds becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in
                    the afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds expected
