Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A cold front, average pressure 29.60 inches, will move across the eastern Great Lakes early today. High pressure, 30.10 inches, will then expand into the northern Great Lakes late today into tonight. This will result in gradual weakening of the winds across the lakes. The high pressure will build into southern Quebec on Wednesday leading to a light easterly wind component across the lakes. This low pressure system will gradually depart the region during the end of the week as a strong slow moving low pressure system crosses the central plains.
