...INCREASED FIRE DANGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
AND SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA THROUGH EARLY EVENING...

Northwest to west winds are going to increase to 10 to 15 mph
today, with gusts 20 to 30 mph across the area. Higher winds
along and west of the Blue Ridge are expected. Humidity levels are
expected to drop into the low to mid 20s during the afternoon
hours. Continued drying fuels combined with these aforementioned
conditions will result in an increased danger of wildfires
spreading.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can
quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
