This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a risk for strong to severe storms across the majority of
the area this afternoon into evening. The main threat is damaging
winds. Heavy rain and localized flooding is also possible mainly
west of the Blue Ridge.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

The risk for severe storms continues on Sunday and Monday. The main
threats during both days is damaging winds and large hail. A tornado
cannot be ruled out east of Route 29 on Sunday. Heavy rain and
localized flooding is also possible mainly west of the Blue Ridge.
