.DISCUSSION...

A stalled frontal boundary will be draped across the Mid-Atlantic Friday
which will trigger late morning showers and storms to develop across
the area. While most of the activity will occur late afternoon, storms
will be possible by midday, though coverage will be isolated initially.
Winds will be generally light, around 5 mph, with gusts near 10 mph.
Skies will become cloudier as the day progresses, but temperatures are
still expected to reach into the low 90s. The weekend forecast looks
very similar, as the frontal boundary remains in the area, causing daily
chances of showers/storms, developing late morning into early afternoon.
Hot and muggy conditions will continue through the weekend. Highs will
lower slightly on Saturday, into the upper 80s, before returning to the
lower 90s for Sunday. Winds remain slightly elevated, with westerly winds
of 5-10 mph and gusts near 15 mph each day. Storms will be very efficient
and capable of dumping high rainfall amounts in a short amount of time.
