...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Virginia, including the following areas,
  Alleghany VA, Bath, Bland, Craig, Giles and Tazewell and southeast
  West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Greenbrier,
  Mercer, Monroe, Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rainfall on top of snow cover and saturated grounds
    from melted snow will lead to rapid runoff into the creeks,
    streams and rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
