...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 7
AM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Significant icing expected. Total ice accumulations between
  two tenths and four tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35
  mph.

* WHERE...Northwest Pocahontas and Southeast Pocahontas Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on
  power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting
  power outages. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
  commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Prepare for possible power outages. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or
by accessing the online traffic and roadway portal for your state.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
