The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Lawrence County in northeastern Kentucky...
  Eastern Carter County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 422 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Stark, or
  near Grayson Lake State Park, moving northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Grayson, Grayson Lake State Park, Webbville, Denton, Grahn,
  Willard, and Hitchins.

This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 162 and
171.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Charleston West Virginia.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
