  Northeastern Wayne County in western West Virginia...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 601 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chesapeake,
  moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Huntington, Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Hamlin, Chesapeake,
  Proctorville, Beech Fork State Park, Barboursville, Kenova, Milton,
  Catlettsburg, Ceredo, Ona, Culloden, South Point, Burlington, West
  Hamlin, Westwood, and Athalia.

This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 1
and 27, and between mile markers 29 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
