...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FAYETTE COUNTY
THROUGH 900 PM EDT...

At 818 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mount Hope, or 9 miles south of Fayetteville. This thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Hill, Mount Hope, Bradley, and Thurmond.

This includes Route 19 between mile markers 5 and 14.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
