...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL BUCHANAN...
NORTHWESTERN MCDOWELL...MINGO AND SOUTHWESTERN LOGAN COUNTIES THROUGH
MIDNIGHT EDT...

At 1143 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Board Tree to near Delbarton. Movement was east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Williamson, Logan, Delbarton, Gilbert Creek, Mount Gay-Shamrock,
Chief Logan State, Holden, Red Jacket, Chattaroy, Hinch, Buskirk,
Matewan, Gilbert, West Logan, Mitchell Heights, Mount Gay, Chauncey,
Myrtle, Sarah Ann, and Meador.

This includes Route 119 between mile markers 1 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
