CENTRAL KANAWHA...SOUTHWESTERN CLAY AND NORTHWESTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES
THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pratt, or 17 miles southeast of Charleston, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Pratt,
Handley, Bickmore, Swiss, Indore, Bentree, Drennan, and Pond Gap.

This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 83 and 84.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
