...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN KANAWHA AND NORTHERN
BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH 715 AM EDT...

At 647 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Madison, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Montgomery, Chesapeake, Marmet, Belle, Cedar Grove, East
Bank, Glasgow, Pratt, Julian, Coal Fork, Danville, Handley, Seth,
Leewood, Dawes, Ashford, Sharon, Eskdale, and Foster.

This includes the following highways...
 West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 71 and 92.
 Route 119 between mile markers 51 and 58.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
