...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN KANAWHA...SOUTHWESTERN
ROANE AND SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT EDT...

At 1137 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Clendenin, or 13 miles southwest of Spencer,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARDS...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Amma, Left Hand, Looneyville, and Walton.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 21 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
